Mother Nature & The Stories She Holds
When I think about what women hold, I think about quiet strength; the kind that gives life, protects, and continues to give even when it is exhausted. That is what I see in a tree.
The rings in the background represent the years the tree has lived. Each layer marks time, growth, resilience, and survival. To me, they mirror the unseen stories women carry: experiences, sacrifices, and memories held beneath the surface. Not everything is visible, yet it shapes who we are.
Even in harsh conditions, a tree remains standing. Its trunk supports, its branches stretch outward, offering protection and nourishment. I see women in that image; holding families, friendships, communities. Offering a shoulder to lean on, arms to protect, and love without measure.
Through this piece, I wanted to honor the strength women carry so naturally, even when no one notices the weight.
